It's my party line

It's a really long joke that no one ends up getting because they stopped paying attention half way through the story. It's an anti-war movie that the highschool boys like because of the cool explosions. It's a dog that really really needs to go outside but everyone thinks it's begging (partially the fault of the dog: he would almost always beg at the table. The Dog that Cried Scraps.). It's a kid trying to explain slang to their parents. It's another generation of a humanity that hasn't changed in millenia, but that is weened on the viciously fictitious narrative of history's victors.
